Disappointing quality and an unnecessarily complicated complaint

Unfortunately, you can only give 5 stars – I’d actually prefer to give 0.

Sadly, I’m not at all happy with the table. Even visually, it looks much cheaper in real life than it does in the photos. On top of that, it was delivered in two parcels, and the second parcel didn’t arrive until about a week later.

Furthermore, whilst assembling it, cracks appeared at the points where the parts are screwed together. To me, this unfortunately doesn’t suggest particularly good material quality.

The complaints process was also unnecessarily complicated. Communication with customer service was mostly in Spanish, which made the whole process much more time-consuming. I’d already packed the table up completely ready to send it back, only to be told I had to unpack it again to take more photos. At some point, the effort simply became too much for me.

In the end, I therefore decided not to pursue the complaint any further.

It arrived in Portugal very quickly (3 days).
The table looks good and is well finished.
It matches the description, apart from the table legs.
The packaging could have been better. It arrived undamaged, but it seemed a bit risky to me.
