Scandinavian and wooden dining chairs

Scandinavian dining chairs in natural wood, with wooden, cord or upholstered seats. They are the easiest to match with wooden, white or marble tables, and they handle the daily use of a family dining room well.

Metal and industrial chairs

Metal and steel chairs, industrial bistro chairs and metal dining chairs with cushions. They are sturdy, many are stackable, and they work just as well in a kitchen as in a bar or a covered terrace.

Transparent chairs

How to choose the right height for chairs and stools

• Dining chair: with a standard table about 75 cm high, a seat height of 45 to 48 cm is the most comfortable.
• Kitchen counter stool: for a worktop or island about 90 cm high, look for a stool with a seat at 60 to 65 cm.
• Bar stool: for a bar 105 to 110 cm high, the seat should be between 75 and 80 cm.
• Quick rule: leave 25 to 30 cm between the seat and the table or worktop, and about 60 cm of width per person.
